National Teenager Day

March 28, 2022
Did you know March 21st is National Teenager Day? That means it’s our day. A day designed for adults to celebrate and honor our presence. Teens are an important part of the way the world works, especially in today’s state. Many of us contribute to something like band, chorus, football, tennis, or even art. Some of us work, which helps the economy grow. So we should all stand tall March 21st
Celebrating this day is slightly complicated, but the gist of it is be a teenager. Roll your eyes over every little thing, complain about your chores, and text your friends. March 21st is one day in particular for adults to acknowledge all the things about teenagers that they love, and to show they support them. As teenagers, we go through a lot. Many of us struggle with grades, social status, peer pressure, and mental health. The 21st is our time to be recognized.
Typically, most of us are moody troublemakers. We make TikToks, and post everything on our snapchat stories. A lot of us do things we shouldn’t and forget to do the things we should. We’re known for acting out and being wild. That’s why we celebrate, because despite our imperfections we make things fun. When homework comes in tsunami waves, we decide to make a new dance for TikTok. March 21st, our day, National Teenager Day.
