4/20 is a day for tens of thousands of Americans to gather and celebrate the illegal drug Marijuana. They cherish this day like someone would a regular holiday, for example Christmas. On this day, people get together to smoke and support the growth of Marijuana.

Marijuana has become completely legal in 20 states. The other 30 states have different rules to follow when it comes to this type of drug. However, only four of these states have completely made it illegal while the rest have decided it has medicinal purposes. According to Time.com 4/20 is also a code police officers use to say “Marijuana smoking in progress.”
