Georgia wins back-to-back national titles!!!!

The Georgia Bulldogs have repeated as football national champions. With a 65-7 thrashing of the TCU Horned Frogs in the College Football Playoff National Championship, Georgia is the first team since Alabama in 2011-12 to win consecutive titles.

UGA won in impressive fashion. According to ESPN Stats & Information research, Georgia earned the most lopsided win in a national title game in college football history. Quarterback Stetson Bennett capped his college career with 343 total yards and six total touchdowns in the game, and the Bulldogs’ defense held TCU to 188 total yards and grabbed three turnovers.

With the dominant win, Georgia fans got to celebrate early. The Bulldogs’ official Twitter account even sent out some victory trolling in the third quarter.

Here at Gordon Central we have a ton of Georgia fans and we asked some of them how they felt about the amazing game last night, here’s what they had to say:

“TCU was not ready” Nathan Clance

“#1 for a reason, Georgia wanted it more than TCU” Gavin Holmes

“Go dawgs! I’m glad the second string got a chance to play” Mrs. Sullivan

“It was good but it was boring after a little while” Camdon Miles

“The game was honestly a boring game overall with UGA not hesitating to show TCU fans that they couldn’t compete on our level” Nico Gaines
