The stars are shining,

Although not bright,

But for some odd reason,

It still brings me delight.

As I gaze,

I spot a face,

Lonely and afraid,

Although unfazed.

The face seems troubled,

However happy deep inside.

This might be because

Delight comes from within,

Even when there is no light.
