The Atlanta Braves, through the “Hank Aaron Diamonds” initiative, will be upgrading all high school baseball and softball fields within Atlanta Public Schools. The first four schools to receive new turf infields are Washington High School, Jackson High School, Mays High School, and North Atlanta High School. Groundbreaking for these initial projects is expected in late October 2025, with completion for baseball fields anticipated by February 2026, in in time for the season. The entire project is slated for completion in approximately two years.
