A trunk or treat is a Halloween event where costumed children go car-to-car in a parking lot to collect candy from decorated car trunks, as an alternative to traditional door-to-door trick-or-treating. Participants decorate their car trunks with festive themes, and the event provides a safer, more controlled environment for trick-or-treating, often hosted by churches, schools, or community organizations. National Honors Society is hosting a trunk or treat on Halloween from 5:30 to 6:30.
