A total of 29 nations have qualified to compete in biathlon, including the US.
Skeleton is a winter sliding sport where the athletes ride a sled down a frozen track headfirst. Competitors take a running start, then dive onto the sled, reaching high speeds. The winner is decided by the lowest combined time from multiple runs down the course. The event is known for its speed and the athletes position during the race. 22 nations are going to be participating in this event, the US being one of them.
