As many of us know March 17th is St. Patrick’s Day. For some people it is about wearing green and pinching others who do not wear the leprechaun’s favorite color.
Ireland was the first to have created St. Patrick’s Day as a religious holiday on March 17th, 1601, because it falls during Christian Season of Lent. During this day Irish families would go to church and feast.
St. Patrick’s Day is important because it helps us understand cultures from other people and it is not just for one person.
