Easter is a Christian celebrated holiday. The story of Easter is a true story about Jesus Christ’s Resurrection. Some families celebrate Easter by hunting eggs, eating candy, and hanging out with friends and family. Other families do the same thing but that is not all that they do. They also go to church and learn about how Jesus came back from the dead. The story goes that after Jesus was hung on the cross and died for our sins, he was put in a cave that was covered with a large tomb stone and on the 3rd day he came back to life. The biblical meaning of Easter is that it symbolizes the victory of life over death, good or evil, and love over hate. Easter is a day that reminds us of how Jesus dying on the cross and coming back to life is the true meaning of love, forgiveness, and mercy.
