The New Freshman that came up to Gordon Central from Ashworth Middle School all have  a fresh start from middle school.

      The 20 students that were interviewed were either excited or nervous about being with the upper class men; some are in sports and courses that are their  pathways. Some students that are likely to drop out because they think it’s a waste of 4 years. Some think it’s not a waste of their  4 years because they’re  going to a college  to complete the pathway that they wanted to do in high school. The students that were  interviewed have   a  favorite teacher, which were   Mr. Skiffen, Gregory (football coach) Mrs. Sullivan, Mrs. Vincent, Mrs. Weaver, Mr. and Mrs. Albright, Mrs Scoggins and Coach Rainwater  . the  freshman are  very impressed that the high school is way different than  the middle school; you get more freedom and finish the work unless you don’t have a note to finish the work you missed.  The New Freshmen are  excited for all the fun and good memories that they will make at Gordon Central.
