Friday the 13th has been known to be “unlucky” but what is the reason for the theory? 

In the Bible, it talks about the Last Supper with Jesus and the thirteenth guest to arrive was one of his disciples, Judah who betrayed him for money and led to the crucifixion and more unlucky things that made up theories. 

Another theory was that Friday, and the number 13th is good fortune. Friday was believed that it had an assocation with the divine feminine. The first clue can be found in the weekend name Friday, which is derived from old English and means “day of Frigg.” Frigg (known as Frigga) was assoaiatied with love, marriage, and motherhood.  

The number 13, meanwhile, has been long regarded as a portentous number by pre-Christian and goddess-worshipping culture.
