During the last 7 years, our One Act team has come in 1st place at the GHSA State Competition twice, 2nd place once, and 3rd place once.  The play that the Performing Arts program is performing this year is titled Sweeney Todd.  It is the story of a guy that is wrongfully accused of something he did not commit. Todd wants revenge. In order to take revenge, Todd breaks the necks of his victims and slit their throats. As vulgar and gory as it may be, it is the perfect play for Halloween. The performance begins on October 10th and continues through the 11th and 12th of October. The play commences at 7:00 PM in the Blue Box Theater here at Gordon Central High School. Admission is $10. Come out and wish them luck and support the Performing Arts by watching their show!
