The game started good for Georgia they went up early 23-0 at the half, but during the second half there was a interception by the Bulldogs that was called back because of trash that was thrown on the field by Texas fans. This has sparked some controversy about the officials during the game.
In a post game interview head coach Kirby Smart made comments about the poor officiating. Stating “No one gave us a chance. Your whole network doubted us. No one believed (in) us. Then they tried to rob us with calls in this place. These guys are so resilient.”
