Is Thanksgiving being forgotten? This seems to be the case. Although Thanksgiving is still celebrated, many people jump to Christmas following Halloween. Stores around the U.S. immediately stock their shelves with Christmas decorations and trees, leading people to buy them and put up their holiday decor. Black Friday sales have started recently; Despite the fact that Black Friday begins on November 29th this year. Some opinions of Christians have come to the conclusion, that many would rather focus on getting things for themselves than giving thanks to god. Other people believe that we have forgotten how to be thankful. Either way you choose to look at it, our beloved holiday is being celebrated and cherished less each year.
