What is the 19th Annual Antique Engine & Tractor Show?
The Gordon County Antique Engine and Tractor Club, is a two- day event on October 17-18 celebrating agricultural history with daily parades, tractor games, live demonstrations of threshing and baling, and operating steam engines. The Show takes place a Cherokee Capital Fairgrounds in Calhoun, Georgia and admission is free!
Activities at the 19th Annual Antique Engine & Tractor show can vary by location, but commonly include tractor parades, tractor games demonstrations of antique equipment, live music, tractor rides, and vendor booths selling parts, crafts and food. Some events may also feature children’s activities, car shows, cornhole tournaments, and antique sawing or threshing demonstrations.
Depending on the show, other attractions can include steam engine smoke and spark shows, a quilting show, spinning demonstrations, and even feature a different brand of antique tractor each year.
They will have their famous pinto and cornbread dinner available on Saturday beginning at 11 a.m.
