Calhoun and Gordon County had the new McDonald’s open on Red Bud Road recently. Now,  another new fast food restaurant is joining the community…Taco Bell. Many students and teachers are excited about the new location. Freshman Landry Rainwater said, “I am so excited because I will have more option for food when I have after-school activities.”  Even teachers can’t hide their excitement. “I’m very excited to have a Taco Bell on this exit because there are very limited places to eat around GC.  I imagine it will have good business with the hospital and our GC students!” said Mrs. Sullivan.  Her favorite item to get is the Nacho Bell Grande.

According to Estrella Martinez, a Team Member at the Highway 53 Taco Bell, the company is preparing now for the opening of the new store.  “We are currently training some of our General Managers and Assistant General Managers for the opening of the new store, so they will know the protocol when the new store opens.”

Taco Bell is an American fast-food restaurant specializing Mexican inspired cuisine, offering food items like tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and nachos, along with specialty and value menu items. Currently, it is in the building process, but hopefully will open very soon. It is right next to Walgreens on the left.
