Bones, a single by American pop rock band Imagine Dragons, is a song about the fragility of life and the anxiety and depression that comes with knowing that life isn’t eternal. However, the singer conquers his ailments and metaphorically conquers death. Bones’s accompanying music video takes inspiration from the movie, The Wolf of Wall Street, and also Micheal Jackson’s Thriller. The band’s frontman, Dan Reynolds, plays the role of an egotistical Wall Street day trader while the other band members act as his office co-workers. A zombie apocalypse suddenly breaks out and everybody buy Reynolds is affected. He is chased around Wall Street by his now zombified co-workers, who are dancing as they do so. Reynolds is eventually roped into the dance, being hypnotized by the zombies, but soon being caught and decaptitated.
