Hello Warriors! We have got some new teachers in the building this year. I’d love to give you a little information about them. Come back every week for a new set of teachers. This week’s teachers are Kodi Albright, Shelly Collins, and Cindy Gregg.
Abby Holbert: “How are you liking Gordon Central so far?”
Kodi Albright: “I absolutely love it. I’m so excited to be teaching at my alma mater. I hope that I can inspire at least one of my students to be a teacher one day.”
A.H: “What’s your Favorite thing about being a teacher?”
K.A: “I love inspiring students to learn and getting to know the students in each of my classes.”
A.H: To Sherrie Sealock, “Do you enjoy doing the Gateway Program? Why?”
Sherrie Sealock: “I do enjoy the Gateway program. I feel like it gives students a non-traditional opportunity to reach their goal of graduation while dealing with the challenges of life. I don’t think it is a fit for all students. It is challenging and requires a lot of self-discipline. But for those who truly need and appreciate the opportunity it is very beneficial for them.”
A.H: “Have you liked being at Gordon Central so far? Why?”
S.S: “I love being a GCHS Warrior. It was a wonderful change for me! The students and the staff are great. I look forward to seeing what this year holds!”
A.H: To Daniel Worley, “What made you want to be a Work Base Learning teacher?”
Daniel Worley: “I have worked hard my entire life and it has paid off. I want to help students do the same thing and have a successful career and life!”
A.H: “What made you want to become a teacher at Gordon Central
D.W: “I love the students, faculty, and administration at GC! There is no other school I’d rather serve.”
Tune in next week for three more teachers!
