After winning the Region 7AA Literary Championship, several of GC’s Literary team are heading to the State Competition.  We are sending a total of 11 students to vie for a State Crown.  Here are our students that are going and their categories:

Girls Trio:  Aliyah Mills, Sadie Holmes, and Anna Caroline Parker

Boys Quartet:  Bobby Hicks, Seth Kolterman, Yessen Zamora, and Asher Lee

Extemporaneous Speaking:  Emonie McReynolds

Girls Solo:  Brianna Weller

For our seniors, this is a bittersweet journey, as it is their last time competing for GC.  Our seniors are Aliyah Mills, Bobby Hicks, Emonie McReynolds, and Brianna Weller.  We wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors.
